Middlesex to Wit

The Information of Edward Gahagan< no role > of the
Sadler Arms in Swallow Street Saint James's
Labourer taken before me this 22nd. day
of October 1783

Who being upon Oath saith that this Evening about
5 oClock as he was passing along the Passage leading to
the One shilling Gallery of Covent Garden Theatre he
saw a person now present who calls herself Annie Clayton
close to him & filt her hand at his Pocket-That he
immediately put his hand to his Pocket, felt, the same
was turned [..] outwards and eleven shillings in
Money taken thereout and further says that he is very
serve that the said Amic Clayton< no role > is the Person that
Picked his [..] Pocket of said Money.
