1783Who being on Oath Say And first the said
Eleanor Boyce< no role >
sayth that this afternoon
alBetween the Hours of Two and Three
she left the aforesaid Dwelling house and went to the House of the
said George Prevost her next Neighbour
and thatthat she verily
believes she locked the Door of the Kitchen in the said House when she
left the same as aforesaid and that no person was in said house at the
Time of her leaving the same and that The Two Close Bodyd Cloth Coats
One Pluch Waistcoat and Two printed Linnen Gowns of the Value of Six
Shillings now produced she left in the
[..] Kitchen of the said house, at the Time
she went to her next Neighbour aforesaid, That this Informant returned in
about an hour afterwards to fetch her Tea Kettle and other Articles to make Tea
with at which Time she verily believe she locked the door of the said
Kitchen when she again left the same and they no person was in the house when the agents went and is carrying this appeared was the
to goto her Neighbours in the said Kitchen
where she went
tothat Whilst she was these at her Neighbour a Child
andaged about five Years informed her that
a Woman had been into her house and come out of the same with something in
her Apron and pointed to the prisoner who says her name is

person who came out of said house, That this informant went after her having never
lost sight of her after being informed by the said Infant as being the person who came
out of her house that this Informant soon overtook the Prisoner and asked her what she
wanted at the House the came out offThat this Informant likewise asked the Prisoner what
she had in her Apron who
andcame back to the House of this Informants this bend
when the Prisoner in the presence of this Informant put

Coats One Plush Waistscoat and Two printed Linnen Gowns in the
[..] Kitchen of said house the property of this Informants
husbands which
shethis Informant is certain that she left in the Kitchen of the said house at the last time of her leaving said
house this afternoon. Elizabeth Provest Sayth That this Afternoon between the Hours of
Three and Four she saw the Prisoner and the said

of the said Boyce she said Two Coats One Waistcoat and Two Gowns, That the Prisoner wanted to
