The Information of Samuel Hibbert< no role > John Blinkworth< no role >
and William Shaddock< no role > taken before me this 1st..
day of April 1782

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Samuel
Hibbert
< no role > says that a Brown Mare which he hath found in the
Possession of the said John Blinkworth< no role > in Hollywell Lane Shoreditch
in the said County is his property and was feloniously Stolen from [..]
out of his Stable at North Mimms Parson a [..] the County of [..]
in the Night of the 17th. of March last [mark] And the [..] Jo [..]
Blinkworth
< no role > says that on Monday last was a fortnight a person [..]
present who calls himself James Collins< no role > came to this Informa [..]
House in Hollywell Lane aforesaid and had with him the said Brow [..]
Mare which he offered to Sell to himThat he agreed to Purchase
the said Mare of said Collins and was to pay him one Guinea and a
half and a Guineas worth of Ashes and paid him One Pound twelve
shillings in part, That said Collins told this Informant that his Name
was James Rolf< no role > that he lived with John Wright< no role > Farmer at Hendon
and that his Mastergothad got several young Horseandsome of
which he must SellThat on Sunday last was sevenight (suspecting
that the said Collins had not come honestly by the said Mare) he
went to Hendonandto enquire for the said John Wright< no role > and found
that all the said Collins had told him was a Lie [..]
said William Shaddock< no role > says that on [..] Evening last when
the said Collins was taken into Custody or [..] Edgware Road the
Constable attempted to search him or which he voluntarily he delivered
to this Informant one Guinea and twelve shillings.
