The Information of Ann Page< no role > of the parish
of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of
Middlesex Spinster taken and made on Oath before
me one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for
the County of Middlesex the first day of April
1782

Who saith that she lives with her Brother John Nott< no role >
Page who keeps a Bakers Shop in Shoreditch . That
on Friday Morning last the 29th. day of March last between
the Hours of eleven and twelve o' Clock there was feloniously
Stolen out of the Till or Drawer in her said Brothers Shop
aboutSixteenten or twelve Shillings. That no Person
belonging to the Family was in the Shop at the time. but
as this Informant was coming out of the Kitchen into
the Shop, she saw a Person who says her Name is
Catharine [..] Harvey< no role > going out of the Shop, and this
Informant suspecting she had robbed the Shop and
seeing the Till wide open went out [..] into the Street
and desired one Mr. Stuchbury a Neighbour to follow
and apprehend the said Catherine Harvey< no role > which he
accordingly did and brought her back to the Shop again
That upon the said Catharine Harvey< no role > 's being charged
with stealing the Money she immediately implored Pardon
and delivered up Two Shillings to this Informant and
declared that she had not taken any more but that
upon being more closely attacked she shook her Cloaths
and three Shillings more fell there from and afterwards
denied that she had stolen any Money as all
