Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Thomas

says that a person now present who calls himself Thomas

and this Informant were drinking at the White Hart
in
Castle Street
Long Acre
last Night about 9 oClockThat
the said Gribble asked him to go with him to his Lodgings
in Drury Lane
That in about a Quarter of an hour after he
had been in the said Lodgings he fell asleep, at which time he
is very sure he had the Silver Watch now produced, his property
in his fob PocketThat he awoke in about an hour, when
he saw the said Gribble in the Room but missed his WatchAnd the said

for himself says that he said Gribble pawned with
him this day the said Silver Watch for one Guinea
