Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John
Stogden< no role >
says that about ¼ before 6 oClock on Monday Morning last
he was stopped at the further end of the Duke of Bedford private
Road by three footpads who robbed him of a pair of Silver shoe
Buckles, about eighteen shillings in Money and a red Leather
Pocket BookSays that he is very sure that three persons now
present who call themselves Joseph Hall< no role >
Francis Burke< no role >
and
James Beach< no role >
are the [..] said three Footpads that so robbed
him as aforesaidThat the said Joseph Hall< no role >
rifled his Coat
pocketthe said Francis Burke< no role >
his Breeches pocket and the
said James Beach< no role >
assisted in robbing his WifeThe said
Sarah Stogden< no role >
says that she was in Company with her said
Husband at the time he was robbed as aforesaid bythethree
Footpads and was also robbed of a pair of silver shoe
Buckles, a black Leather Pocket Book, and about five shillings
in MoneySays that she is very sure that the said
James Beach< no role >
is one of the said footpads and that she doth
verily believe the said Joseph Hall< no role >
and Francis Burke< no role >
to be the other two Footpads that robbed her as aforesaid
