of Middlesex Gentleman Maketh Oath and Saith That
he this Deponent having some Business to Execute
at the Honourable St. Richard Astons Chambers in
Serjeants Inn on Saturday the 8thDay of
April last on there abouts when he this Deponent there saw
one William Cates< no role > , with a Bail Piece in his hand,
and this Deponent knowing of a Law Suit then
depending between one Mr. James Crisp< no role > and the said
William Cates< no role > , he this Deponent was the more
attentive to the said William Cates< no role > Business,
and some Short time after being in the said Sr.
Richard Astons Chambers, he this Deponent
saw the said William Cates< no role > , give the said Bail
Piece, into the hands of Mr. Postlewaite Sr. Richd.
Astons head Clerk in Order to put in Bail above
