named prosecutor Maketh Oath and Saith That he this Deponent
preferred a Bill of Indictment at Hicks Hall against the above
named Sarah Phillips and Mary Jilks at this present Session
which Bill was by the Grand Inquest found a true Bill And
this Deponent further Saith that he this Deponent Attended
at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey together with Henry
Goldsmith< no role >
and William Little< no role >
his Witnesses On Thursday
the Seventh Friday the Eighth Saturday the Ninth
Monday the Eleventh and on Tuesday the Twelfth day of
July Instant to prosecute and give Evidence against the
said Sarah Phillips and Mary Jilks upon the said Bill of
Indictment for feloniously Stealing from this Deponent
Five pair of Stays the property of this Deponent And this
Deponent further Saith that he this Deponent being
informed that the Middlesex Jury was Discharged last
Night this Deponent Apprehended that the said Sarah
Phillips and Mary Jilks would not have been brought to the
Bar this Session for Tryal but this Deponent for his further
Satisfaction Saith that he this Deponent Attended at
Justice Hall aforesaid this Morning between the Hours of
Nine and ten of the Clock with his Witnesses aforesaid when
he this Deponent was informed that the said Sarah Phillips
and Mary Jilks was Called to the Bar and Discharged for
Want of Prosecution Notwithstanding this Deponent
Attended with his Witnesses to prosecute and give Evidence
against them as aforesaidbeing Determin'd to shew neither
Favour or Affection to either of the aforesaid Parties
