about the lather end of March, last two persons
now present who call themselves William Spedding< no role >
and Ann Spedding< no role > took the First Floor of this Informt
& have Lodged there ever since that he told this Informt
he was a Smugler but that when he had no Goods
to sell he worked at his Trader which was that of a
Jeweller but she never saw him work at the same
or carry out any Goods that she has very frequently
heard a Norse in the said Apartment appearing to
this Informant like that produced from a strong
blow with in heavy hammer that these Blows
have been singly one at a time with an Interval
of several Minutes between each Blow but what
was doing this Informant cannot take upon her to
say.
