Informations of Witnesses severally Taken and
Acknowledged the first day of June in the
Eighteenth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc
At the House of John Jackson< no role > known by the
Name of the Rising Sun in the Hamlet of
Mile End Old Town in the Parish of Saint
Dunstan Stebunheath otherwise Stepney in the
said County of Middlesex before Thomas Phillips< no role >
One of the Coroners for the said County on view
of the Body of a new born Male Child then and
there lying Dead as follow to wit.

James Holland< no role > Beadle of Mile End Old Town
Saith That on Saturday Morning last a Person who
was a Stranger to Informant Came to Informant
and told him that a Child was Drowned in a Pond
where some Night Soil wasThat Informant
went there and found the above Child lying by the
Side of the WaterThat Informant Order'd it to
be brought to the WorkhouseThat Informant
did not see itIfany Marks of Violence about it
But gave it to One Mary Ward< no role > to be Strip'd
That the Pond is Situate in the Back Lane near
the half way House in the Road to White Chappell
And belongs to William Bowey< no role >
