The Information of Alexander Allen< no role > taken on Oath before
me James Spagg< no role > one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the said County the 26 day of Janry 1774

Who saith thaton Fridayin the night of Thursday the 20th.
instant [..] some person or persons got over a Wall and
from thence descended or come down into a yard
belonging to his dwelling House and then Wrenched &
broke the window Shuttlers and the Door of his dwelling
House also the Brick Work of his Collar Window but
the said person or persons did not [..] get into his
House saith that the said person or persons took
and carried away a Copper Tea Kettle and Copper
Stew Pan And this Informant further saith that in
the Night of Sunday the 23d Instant about [..] twelve
oClock he was alarmed by a Watchman who calld
to him and told him that he had found an Iron
Bolt or scrwer stuck in a Door in the Passage behind
his dwelling House whereupon he got up and came
down stairs and after Examining his House he went
into his yard and [..] upon searching [..] the same
found a Man (who says his name is William Ashford< no role >
concealed in [..] his Necessary or Privy-House [..] whom
he Seized andtogetherwith the Assistance of the
Watchman conveyed him to White Chapel Watch House
saith that upon searching the said William Ashford
he found a Tridar Box Matches a Tobacco Box and
