The Information of Dennis Shiels
admitted a Voluntary Evidence in his
Majestys behalf against Edward parker< no role >
Peter Thane< no role > and William Pritchard< no role >
touching a Certain Felony & Burglary
taken before Us two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that last Tuesday Morning
was a Week between Nine and Tenheat the Corner
of [..] newtoners Lane in Drury Lane he met the two person
now present who call themselves Peter Thame and William
Pritchard< no role > when they told him that they had made a fine
Book at Surgeon Hall in the Old Bailey that
Pritchard threw up a Window & went me and got the Master
Key of the Room & fastened the Doors & then Thane
went in and brought out a Quantity of Plate consisting
of a Long handled Soup Ladler a Number of Silver Table
Spoons Tea Spoons a Silver Mug & a Silver Salver
and also told this Informant that [..] they found a
part of Candle sticks which Pritchard say'd were not
Silver but French Plate and also a Kettle which had that
Hall Stamp upon it which they did not take but Pritchard
said he afterwards wished he had taken it & said that there
was a [..] Cup which he Used to see and if he could
laid hold of it would have taken it but could not find it
that he went to a Drawer & forced it open with a Chissel in
which he found [..] a Number of Half pence which he
brought away thinking by their brightness they were
Guineas they then went & drank together & Parted this
Informant further saith that before the above Conversation
in Newtoners Lane he saw Parker William Pritchard< no role > and
Peter Thames Parker had a Bundle Tied up in a Red Shiped
Linen Handkerchief and the handle of a Large Silver Spoon
was hanging out of the Handkerchief this Informant pulled
opened theout enough to see the Bowl which was a
Scollopd Bowl and the puskit in again then parker
left them & took the Bundle & the others went with this
Informant as above describedthat about nine o Clock of
