for the said
County
Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant George Ferquson for himself
saith that on or about the 14th day of July last
a person now present who calls himself William
Williamson< no role >
otherwise Mr Kenzie came to the
Shop of this Informant in the Stand and this
Informant shewed him several things in the
Toy Way but the said Williamson did not Purchase
any thing but appointed this Informant to come
to Meads Court on the Next Day No. 16. & soon
after the said Williamson was gone from the [..]
Shop this Informant Missed a pair of Diamond Carriage
now produced and a five Shilling & three pence
in Gold and this Informant went the next
Day to No. 16 in Meads Court & enquired for
Mr Johnston which was the Name the said
Williamson gave himself when at his Shop
but this Informant found no such Person
nor any such Number as 16 in Maids Court
And this Informant Timothy Parker< no role >
for
himself saith that is the Servant to Mr.
Murthiwaite in Princes Street
St. Anns
a Pawnbroker that on the 14th. day of July
last the Person now present as he calls himself
Wm. Williamson otherwise Mr. Kenzien Plodged at
his Porters Shop the Pair of Diamond Earings now produced for
Seven pounds Eighteen Shillings & three Pence
