9 o' Clock and pay her the Money she should let them have on the said
Note, says they then bespoke a Leg of Lamb and Spinach and Sallad
for Supper, that on his pressing to have Money on the said Note she
got thirteen Guineas form her Brother John Warren< no role > which she gave
to the said William Emes< no role > and received from him the Note afore
described as a Bank Note, says that before she gave him the
said Money she said she hoped there was no Trick in it as she had
a large family, says the said William Emes< no role > held the Said Note up again
and said you see it is a Bank Note and I would sooner cut my right
hand off than wrong you that have such a large family says that
she having some Suspicion of the Goodness of the said Note asked a
person in the house about it who said he believed it was a bad one,
that the said William Emes< no role > and his Companion did not return
Supper and were gone out of the house before she asked the
said Person about the Note
