Saith that he has been Cook of the Ship Prince Tom Benjamin Jones< no role >
Master for the space of Eight Months past, And that being on board
on a certain Day he cannot recollect but thinks it was about a

said ship and directed to take up a Bag laying on the Cabbin
Deck and carry it upon Deck that he did so when he received
further Dircetions from the Make to hand it over the Side to the
Waterman (Meaning a Waterman then laying along side the
Ship ) that this Examiant did so but that he was at that Time
ignorant of the Contents of the Bag but is now of opinion it was
Indigo

Thomas Brown< no role > (being first Sworn in like manner) Saith that he is
a Waterman and was employed by the Recommendation of one
Anderion to being William Bartheman< no role > from on board the Ship Prince
Tom to Pelican Stair Shadwall in his Boat that the said William Barthman< no role >
had a Bag but what the Contents were this Examinantdoesdid not know
that afterwards the same Day he went along side the said Ship by
the Directions of the said William Bartheman, when the said
William Barteman< no role > and John Tennants each of them brought another
Bag into this Examinants Boat and carried the same and William
Bartleman to [..] new Crane Stair where they were banded and where
the same was carried to hedoes not know, that he wint along side
the said Ship a third Time by the like directions of the said William
Bartleman who not being then on board this Examinant waited until he
camewhen heand taking a forth Bag and the said william Bartleman< no role >
into his Boat went therewith to this James Stairs where he landed
then and this Examinant himself carried the said last mentioned Bag
to
