John Elliott< no role >
taken before me One of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace
for the said
County.
Who being upon Oath saith that between
Ten & Eleven o'Clock on Saturday Night last
he was in company with One James Elliott< no role >
a person now present at the hand & Crown in
Church Street
Saint Giles [..] when this
Informant say'd to the said James Elliott< no role >
it was late & he would go & see for a Lodging
at the Fleet
Market as he should be among his
Acquaintance but the said James Elliott< no role >
persualed him to go and lay with him as it
would save him Six Pence for a Lodging & by
much persuasion this Informt. went with the
said James Elliott< no role >
to his Lodgings inabout
Church Lane
upon which this Informt. when
he came into the said Room counted the Money
thatwhichhe hat in his pocket which was fourteen
Shillings. & which he Immediately put into
the Fob of his Breeches Pocked and Bolted
the Door of the Room then Undreseed himself
and went into Bed & laid his Breeches by the
Bed side But the said James Elliott< no role >
laid
himself down upon the Bed with his Cloaths
on & did not undress himself that about Eight
o Clock the neat Morning when this Informt
awaked he got up. & found. that the said James
Elliott< no role >
was gone and also that his Money was
taken away this Informant there his Money was
taken away this Informant therefore suspo [..]
and verily believes that the said James
Elliott< no role >
took the said fourteen Shillings out
of his Fob Pocket
