The Information of Samuel Gurney< no role > Servant to William
Edward< no role > of Staines in the Said County taken upon Oath before
me one of his Majesty's Justices [..] of the Peace for the said
County the first day of Novr. 1772 .

Who upon his oath Saith that yesterday bro [..] ning
about four o'Clock the Missd a Small Wooden chest which was
Corn'd up & then was in the same four Shirts one Neck coth a Pair of
Pumps a White Lawn HandKerchief & two Pair of Worted
Stocking and the furthen Saith that these who a Tin Box in
the said Wooden Box inth a Steel Watch Chain in it and that
upon Cooking after Richard all wright who had been Servant to
his said master William Edmead< no role > he found the Said Richard allwright< no role >
in a Rable belonging to his Said Master and Ac the said
Samuel & Richard Soon after went into his Saith Masters House
& upon being ask'd by the Said Samuel what Ac hat done
with his the Said Samuels Shirts [..] the Said Richard pulld out
of his Pocket one thick one Peck Coth one Handkerchief a
Tin Box with a Heel watch Chain in if & upon hing ask'd what
the had done with the Gumps a the other Shirts he told the Said
Samuel that they wen at the Black Box at Colnbrook and that
the two Pair of Worsted Stockings were left withLead a
Pawnbroken in Coln brooke aforsaid and this Informant further
Faith that this Morning he went to the Beach Box &Lead's
Horge at Coln brook aforesaid where he found the Things he had
costs according to the Information be had receiv'd from him the
said Richard but did not take them or one Part thereof away
with him and believes that Some Part of or all the Thinks the Cost
an now in the Hands or Custody of John Stone< no role > Constable of the
said Parish of Staines .
