The Information of

admitted an Evidence in his Majesty's
behalf taken before Us two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Pearce
for the
said County City & Liberty
Who being upon Oath saith thatin the
about the Sixth or Seventh of May last about
Eight o'Clock in the Evening he & Edmand Burton< no role >
& Isaac Poulton< no role >
the two persons now present met
together at the Inn & Dove Alehouse in Holborn
& werein outry the sd. House once or twice in the Evening
after they so met that a little after twelve o'Clock
the same Night they went into Gate Street near
Lincolns Inn
Fields. where they saw a Gentleman
come out of a Court or passage & a servant with a Candle
lighted attending him that the said Servant being gone in
with the bundle they passed the said Gentleman
by & Isaac Poulton< no role >
took off his shoes that the
Gentleman might nod hear him the said Isaac
Poulton< no role >
knocked the said Gentleman down Cutd
this Informant saw the Gentleman fall & heard
his stick or Cand rattle on the Stones that the
Gentleman cryed out watch & Thieves once or twice
before he fell & the said Isaac Poulton< no role >
took
the said Gentleman Hatt (which he is a stain
is the Hatt now produced) they all three ran
away & soon after met again in little Queen
Street
. where this Informt. & the sd. Burton &
Poultney by the Light of a Lamp examined the
said Hatt And this Informant further saith that
he hath been long acquainted with the said Burton
and Poulton and likewise for about a Year & half
with one Sarah Davis< no role >
a Woman now present
& with whom the sd. Isaac Poulten< no role >
lived at time
long before & particularly at the time of the above
Robbery. that the said Sarah Davis< no role >
then lived
at a House in Parkers Lane. & that this Informant
& the sd. Poultney & Burton have frequently been
together at the said Sarah Davis< no role >
