of which were Sold for half a Crown a Piece
and the other four being alive George for three
Shillings each that this Informant took
all the Money and after they had Sold the said
Geese they Immediately returned to the
Sign of the Queback in Oxford Street where
he paid all the Money that he had Received to
the said Joseph Lilly< no role > that soon after the Man
Called Isaac returned and Joined Joseph Lilly< no role >
James Horton< no role > & this Informant when
Joseph Lilly< no role > Pulled out two or three & thirty
Shillings which he laid upon the Table &
after paying this Informant Eighteen pence
for his Trouble parted, the said Money between
James Horton< no role > Isaac & himself but whether
in exact equal Shares this Informant
cannot take upon himself to say and soon
after the said there Persons left this
Informant at the Quebed & went away
it not being then twelve o' Clock in the Day
And this Informant further saith that
the next Morning being Tuesday about ten O'
Clock One William Howard< no role > a Farmer
came to him at Paddington & Enquired
if he knew any thing about some Geese
which the said Wm Howard< no role > said th had been
Robbed off on the proceeding Sunday Night
and upon this Informant telling him he
had Sold some Geese for some People the
Day before & where they had been disposed off
this Informant & the Sd. Wm. Howard Immediately
went to the Sign of the [..] City of Quebeck
in Oxford Street where they found the four
live Geese Sold by this Informant & the
other Persons the Morning before that upon
seeing the said Geese the said William Howard< no role >
Immediatly declared they were his Geese
& were a Part of the twelve which had been
Stolen from him on the Proceeding Sunday Night
