taken before me this 14th. day of
June 1771

Who being upon Oath says that she was in Company
with Mr. William Brown< no role > in the Evening of the Thursday in
Whitsun Week when he was robbed by three Footpads near
Baynigge Wells and that she herself was also robbed of
a Gold ring, and further says that she does verily believe
that a person now present who calls himself William
Thwaites< no role > is the Person who robbed her of her ring as
aforesaid and was one of the footpads that robbed the
said William Brown< no role >
