Cane Warping for the Deceased to Weave And Between Twelve
and One last Tuesday the Deceased was coming to Informants
to have the Cane Altered And several People had been ill using him

Face was BloodyHe had a Cut over One Eye which Eye
Informant cannot tellWhen he Came in he said he was
Besetsaid "This will be the finishing Stroke" "This will
Crown it All" That was all he saidThat he secur'd
much Frighten'dThat soon after he Came in The People
without side Said Damn him Turn him out Turn him out
That in about half an hour after the Deceased had been in
Informants House his Wife Came And the Deceased
Ask'd her if she had brought the Pistols And she
Answered' Yes Mr. West bid her bring them
saith (Mr. West is the Master that both Informant and
the Deceased Workd' for)That then the Deceased bid
his Wife go Home And fetch & little Box of Gun Powder
for the Pistols and his Wig and his Tuck Stick(The Mob being then
kicking the Wig he had on before about the Streets)
That his Wife went and brought the Powder and
the Deceaseds Wig But did not bring the Stick
him for she said Mr. West had told her it would be
Dangerous to bring the StickThat then the
Deceased Put on his Wig And he and his Wife and a
Little Boy (the Deceaseds Apprentice) went out together
And went as for as half Nichols Street And then the
Deceased run back with a Pistol in his Hand to
Informants Door And many People followed him
