Justices of the Peace
for the said County
Who being upon Oath that on Saturday
Night last about 12' O' Clock he met with a Woman
now present who calls herself Sarah Lyon< no role >
& she asked him to go with her to her Lodgings
in Cross Lane
St Giles
& he went home to her Room
& when he went into the Room he had three
Guineas two half Guineas a Quarter Guinea all
in Gold & ten Shillings in Silver in his Breeches
Pockets & also a Silver Watch the said Sarah
Lyons< no role >
bolted the Room Door in the Inside & this
Informant went & felt that the Bolt was in the
Staple and Immediately Undressed himself
& laid his Breeches Under the Part of the Bolster
on which his Head Lord & got into Bed with the
said Sarah Lyons< no role >
about two O' Clock she got out
of Bed & went out of the Room pretending that of [..] that [..] he go to the Sign & this Informant
not hearing his Watch go abt. ten Minutes after
her going out of the Room & searched for his Breeches
& found them gone upon which he got up out of
the Bed & found them upon the Chair lay the Bed
side upon which he searched his Pocket &
found that all his Money was taken away
except a Six pence but the Watch was left in
his Fob And is certain that there was not any
other person in the Room but the said Sarah Lyons< no role >
And this Informant went to the Boot & found that
she had not been there as the House was Open and
Verily believes that the said Sarah Lyons< no role >
is the person who Robber
