The Information of George Grimmet< no role >
Domestic Servt . to Miss Magdalene Moor< no role >
taken, before me One of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that on Sunday Night
last abt. 2' o'Clock he was awaked by a Noise &
saw four Men enter his Bed Room One of them
had a lighted Candle in his hand & the other with
Candles which they lighted & some of them with
Pistols in their hands One of the said persons stood
over this Informt. with a Pistol & he desired that
they would not Murder him & they say'd that they
would not, if he would tell where the plate was
which he did and three of them Went up Stairs &
the fourth stood to Gerard him, this Informt. believes
that they continued in the House about an hour
During the time the three Persons were above Stairs
an alarm was given, & they came down Stairs &
brought Bundles into their Informants Room
and threatened to shoot him if he did not tell them
the Nearest Way for them to make this Escape
This Informt. told them the Nearest Way was
up the back Area Stops & over the Wall Upon
which they Immediately Went that Way and made
their Escape And saith, that a Pair of Salt Spoon
& a Soup Spoon now produced and the property of
his Mistress & were Stolen in her House during
the time the said four Men were in the said House
And further saith that he verily believesthat
from the Statute Dress & Age that the [..] two
Persons now Present who call themselves John
Haines
< no role > & Richd. Butcher< no role > & Benjamin Isaac< no role > are
two of the four persons who Broke into his
Mistresses House And is positive that the
