The Humble Petition of
Francis Cuff< no role > a Prisoner in his
Majesty's Gaol of Newgate for
Forgery.

Humbly Sheweth


That Your Petitioner now
Stands Committed to his Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate and Charged in and by the Warrant of
The Right Honourable William Beckford< no role > late
Lord Mayor of the City of London Deceased, by the
Oaths of Samuel Harrys< no role > and John Weaver< no role > and
others, for Feloniously Forging a certain Inland
Bill of Exchange for the Payment of Fifty Pounds
And for Publishing the Same as time in the County
of Middlesex with intent to Cheat and Defrand the
said John Weaver< no role > the supposed Acceptor of the said
Bill

Your Petitioner therefore humbly
Prays that he may be Bailed, Tried or Discharged
at his Present Session, Pursuant to the Statute in
Such Case made and provided

And Your Petitioner will ever
Pray etc
