The Information of Eliz Dagg< no role > Washerwoman
taken before me this 23d. day of May 1770

Who being on oath says, that She went last monday morning,
[..] about one o Clock to the House of Mr Greeves Pawnbroker
to Wash, that the maid let her in, Mr Greeves's Wife was
up and the Water was hot ready to go to wash says after
she had been there sometime the Maid said to her Mistress
that she thought some body was about the House, that this
Informant replied she hoped no body would come to murder
her, says that Misstress Greeves then went up stairs, that
soon afterwards Mr Greeves himself came down and
went backwards saying he was Ill, says that she believes
it was then about two o Clock says she believes he
then returned up Stairs again says that about an
hour afterwards she heard the alarm of fire that she her
Mistress and the maid went up Stairs immediately and found
Mr Greeves at the fore door almost as soon as them.
