The Information of Ann White< no role > John
Cooledge
< no role > Eleanor Meadow< no role > & Jno Dobree< no role > taken
before me One of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the said County

Who severally being upon Oath And first this
Informant Ann White< no role > for herself saith that she
Went to bed on Saturday Night the 7th. Instant
about twelve o'Clock and the Sash of the back
Parlour Window was Shut down but the Window
Shutters were not fastened her House being defended
on that side with a High Wall and Wooden Pallisades
at the Top and about 7' o Clock the Next Morning
this Informant was called up and told that her
House was Broke open and when she came down
Stairs she found her back door Open & the Sash
of the Window thrown up and Part of the Pallisades
upon the Wall broke and the following Goods Stolen
Vizt about Eighteen Shillings worth of Copper Money
a Tea Chest about 14 Yards of Poplin Some Sh [..]
a Man [..] Hatt and two Silks Cloaks now Produced and other
thingsAnd this Informant John Cooledge for
himself saith that he together with Jas. Mc. Donald
& James Smith< no role > on Sunday the 8th. Instant about
3' o Clock in the Morning Went to the House of
the abovenamed Ann White< no role > the Corner of the Hamp.
shire Hog Yard St. Giles . and James McDonald< no role > .
lifted James Smith< no role > over a Wall belonging to the
said House and he Opened the back Door and
Mc. Donald went in with Smith and this Informt
kept Watch at the End of the Yard And the said
Smith & Mc. Donald brought out among other
things the abovemd. piece of Poplin the Hatt a Tea
Chest some Shirts & the two Silk Cloaks now
Produced And this Informant Went to the Boot
in Cross Lane St Giles and there met with Eleanor
Meadows
< no role > and delivered to her the two Silk Cloaks
now produced & the Poplin to be pawned and white she was gone
