The Information of William Howton< no role > a Lodger at Mr: Shaw's in
Barrett's Court in the Parish of St Marylebone in the said County
Cabinet Maker taken upon Oath this 22d. Decrmr 1768 before me
one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
City and Liberty

Who being upon Oath saith, that a person now present who calls himself
Jesper Webb is the very identical person who Knocked down Mr Nicholls
with whom this Informant was personally present at the time about half
an Hour after 12 o'Clock at Night, and that the Pocketts of the said Mr.
Nicholls were rifled, and his Hat and Wig Stole by the said Jesper Webb< no role >
and his Companions, And this Informant further upon his Oath
declareth and Saith That Jesper Webb< no role > is the very person who knocked
down the said Mr Nicholls, and attempted likewise to Knock down this
Informant William Howton

Sworn before me this 22d Decemr 1768 .
