The Information of Francis Kelly< no role > taken
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the
peace for the sd County

Who being on Oath saith the Yesterday Evening
he went to the Lodging of Mary Gifford< no role > in
Pas [..] Lane and when he came into the Lane
he told his Money & had Ga & Eighteen Shillgs. in
Silver in his breeches pocket & one Shillgs. & Six
pence & some half pence in his Coat and this
Ins. went into the Room of the sd Giffard & gave her
a [..] & lay or the bed with her & as soon as he
got [..] up he missed [..] the Ga. & Eighteen
Shillgs And then Ins seized hold on her & charged
her with the Robbery & called out of the Window
and the sd. Mary called down stairs for some
Man & forthwith came into the Room a Soldier
and two Dennis & the Soldier had child this Ins
down & ran away & the Mary ran with the
Closet & them Ins got up & seized her again &
held he till the Constable came And then Ins
further saith their he only best the sd. Mary Giffard< no role > Rob [..]
him as aforesaid no 8 person being with him
in the Room
