The Information of James Baker< no role > ,
Servant to Thomas Duncombe< no role > of
Grosvenor Square< no role > , Esquire , taken
before me this thirteenth Day of
January 1768.

Who being upon his Oath sayeth
that between the hours of Six and Eight in
the Evening of Yesterday he this Informant was
Assaulted and Stopped by a Person now present
who calls himself John Alders< no role > in St. James's
Park , who Seized this Informant by the Collar
of his Coat , dragged him into the Green Park ,
and there feloniously and forcibly took
from his Person one Linen Pocket Handkerchief
now produced, Six or Seven Shillings in
Silver,andsome half Pence, a Key of
the Green Park , one Clasped knife, one Tooth
Pick Case and one Pair of Gloves his Property; and three
Keys, the Property of Thomas Duncombe< no role >
Esquire , which said John Alders< no role > returned
to this Informant.
