before me this 6th. day of Novr. 1766
Who being upon Oath says that on the 16th. of October last three
Persons decoyed him into a house known by the Sign of the
White Hartand
Shoulder of Mutton and in Brooks Market
when
by proposing a Wager with him that he did not produce a certain
Sum of Money, they persuaded him to go to his Lodgings and
offetch what Money he had that he accordingly did so
and returning to the above house he pulled out his Money
amounting to £31..15..6 and put it upon a Table and stopping
to the door to make Water they all three ran away and
feloniously took and carried away his said Money and
father says that a Person now present who calls himself
Chas. Manwaring he is very sure is one of the three
Persons who so feloniously took and carried away his
said Money
