before me this 9th. day of May 1766

Who being on Oath says That a Person
now present who calls herself Jane Mc. Ginnis
lived in his Family in the Capacity of a Kitchen
Maid; that She went away Yesterday Morning
without his Privity or Consent between the
hours of five and Six; that about the same
time a Quantity of Plate, Jewels, Linen, and
wearing Apparel, now produced were
feloniously taken and carried away out of this
Informants House; says, That he has just
Cause to Suspect, and verily believes That the
said Goods were feloniously taken and carried
away by the said Mc. Ginnis< no role > , they having
been found in her Custody.
