Who being on Oath says, that as he was coming
to. London
in his Waggon about a Month ago, his Waggon
was Stopt in Bell found Lane, by two Persons, one of whom
presented a Pistol to this Informant andpresented a
demanded his Money; says that he delivered to him
some Silver that he had in his Pocket, amounting to
about thirteen Shillings; says that it was about eleven
o' Clock at Night when this Robbery was Committed
and that the Person who prented the Pistol to him had
a Rough Face, says that on his return to Staines the said
Night, he gave an Account of this Robbery to Serjeant
Snell grove, and on his describing the Robber's having a
rough Face, And being Short in Person, Snell grove
declared that he did Not know any one in said Regiment
like him except Bromley; farther says that he had a Candle
and Lanthorn in his hand when the Robbers came up.
