Who being upon Oath says that last Saturday was sevenight
on a Conversation between this Informant and one Richd. Evans< no role >
of the James Engiment relative to same Robberies that had been
Committed and of which the Men of their Droop had been Suspected
greatly to their Dishonour and Camenting the Seandal it had brought
upon the said Corps, he said the somebody had got a good
body the Night before meaning by a Robbers which had been
Committed upon Egham Hills says said Evans then declared
that the body was not so great a she imagined for that there was
but thirty Shillings taken and three Watches which Watches
Tomkinson or his Wife had say that a this time he did not believe
what Evans said but that on said Evans being taken up himself
and sent to London, Charged a she was Informed by some
Accomptice with Robberies, he then went to the lodgings of said
Tomkinson and on asking some Questions of his Wife She
delivered him three Watches which he delivered to Captain
Hamilton
