The Information of Peter Lote< no role > & John Hendre< no role > taken before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being sevl. On Oath say & first then Ins. Defn Note for humble saith That on Saturday night
last he then Ins went with a Woman who present who calls herself of Mary Newman< no role >
Lodging but saith with no heard Intention saith
than there was anor. Woman in the said Lodging
and he gave the last mentd. Woman a Shillg to
set some beer but she noun returned with
the Charge and saith the he is certain that he
had his Watch when the or. Woman went out
and in abt. 20 Minuts after then Inf mised a Watch none
Produced which is his Property & Saith that he sent
for the Ins who is a Constable & in his Presence charged
the sd. Mary with taking his watch which the denyed
and the Court seen [..] her but did not find the Watch
on her but in abt. an hour the sd. Many went to [..]
the Chimney and within the same took out the Watch &
delived it to the sd. Infrt. And the sd John Hendre< no role > for
himself saith that he was sent for at the time above
mentd. & was by him Charged with the sd Mary with taking
his Watch which she denyed And the Inf Seen [..] her
but did not find the Watch or her & she consd. in there
denyal from full hour but at last she went to the Chimney
As ass & took the Watch from thence & save to [..] Ins.
