the above named Prosecutrix
maketh Oath and Saith that she prefered the above
Indictment against the said Defendant Yesterday at Hicks
Hall
and that it was very late in the afternoon before she
was Examined by the Jury there, and being informed
that the Defendants Tryal would not come on at
the Old Bailey
before twelve o'Clock this day on
account of the great Number of Indictments that
had been prefered before hers; and whereupon
this Deponent went home she living as far off as Highgate
and deeply Engaged in Business, But this Morning
came to London with her witness John Watkins< no role >
in order to appear and prosecute the said Defendant
and was Attending at the Old Bailey
before Eleven
o'Clock for that purpose but was informed that the
said Defendant had been acquitted of the said Indictment
just before this Deponent and her said Witness was
at the Old Bailey
as aforesaid
