The free and voluntary Examination & Confessions
of Thomas Darling< no role > of the Parish of St George
in the County of Middlesex Houses Carpenter
taken before one ones of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the said County this 26 day
of March 1764

Who freely and voluntaryly without persuasions or
intreaties declareth and Sayth, that on or before the
Twenty Eighth day of January last he this Examinant
did feloniously steal takes and carry away from the Shop
and premises of Graveley Seabornes< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Ratcliffe in the
said County Three Saws the property of Robert Oylett< no role > ,

And farther that a few days afterwards he the said
Thomas Darling< no role > did feloniously steal take & carry away
from some [..] ew buildings on Wappin Wall in the Parish
of St. Paul Shadwell . in the County aforesaid Two
Saws a Felaster one Hammer and a paring Chissel the
property of William Griffin< no role > .

And farther that a few days afterwards [..] the said Thos.
Darling
< no role > did feloniously steal take and carry away from
some buildings at Wappin Wall aforesaid sunday Saws
Plaines Chissels Hammers and other Tools belonging to
several Carpenters who had been at work thore butthe
how many of Each respective Sort he Cannot with any
Certainty set forths,

And farther that on as before the fifteenth day of Febry
last from some buildings in an near Bulcher Row
in the Parish of St Bottolph without Aldgate in the
said County he this [..] Examinant did
feloniously steal take and carry away [..] one Saw
an Ape an Oilstone two Mortice Chissels two Gouges
one Broad Former one Rabit Plaine one Small Hollow
two Squares one Hammer one paid of pinchers, a Gase, one
screw Driver a Cutting Knife and Two fails the property
of Henry Corke< no role > ; and also one other age an Oilstone
one Stock and Bit three Hollows and one Round the
property of Abraham Hunt< no role > : And also a Saw and Bead
Plaine the property of Charles Heath< no role > .
