The Information of Sarah Walker< no role > at Mr Bennets in Orange Street
near the News the 6th day of March 1761

Who being on oath Says that on Saturday was Living [..] about 6 in the
Evening, She was Pict up by two Gentleman in the Haymarket
who [..] caried her to the House of the tent Mr Kings in Lecester Square ,
where She was introduc'd to one Gardell, & drank tea there
Says She Stayed there that night with said Gardell
who told this Informant that Mr. King was gone to Bath
& this Informant Stayd there tilllastthe Thursday following,
Says the day before She came away, the said Gardell
made her a present of two Shifts & told her he wou'd give
her a price of Silk, to make a Goun or Sack but she never [..]
recev'd any

The Information of Martha Pritcherd< no role > in Nagshead Yard in
Hedge Lane the 6th day of March 1761

who being on oath Saysthat [..] She was employ'd as
a Chairwoman by one Gardell in Leicesterfields Seven Days
that She went there Sunday was Sevenight, & came away Satterday
following, Says that last Fryday, She Saw a red & white
Bed Curten hanging on the Banisters of the Stairs to dry
Says that the next Evening She Saw the Same Curtin
in the late Mr Kings Bed Chamber, & it was not then dry,
Says that during the whole time She was in Said House
Exept on Said Satterday Evening, She had not been in that
Bed Chamber, nor had She Seen, the doors of the Same
open'd by any person [..] what ever, Says that while
She was in Said House She found in a water Tub
in the Back Kitching, three blankets, one quited apr
of Streets & that they apeard to be Stain'd of a redish
Colour as if Bloody, & that the water in which they
were Soking was verie Offensive & Says the
Said Gardell always told this informant
that Mr King was gone to Bath
