in the said County taken before
Me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County aforesaid
Who being on Oath Saith that on last Tuesday was Seven night Goulston Bruere< no role >
now Present a little before nine in the Evening Put a Letter into the Post box under
this Informants care And the said Bruere after he had dropped the Letter into the box
asked this Informant if it was safe To which this Informant answered Yes Sir
It is dropped in, it is safe [..] enough And this informant further Saith That Catharine
Lindon< no role >
was close by this Informant when the said Mr. Bruere Put in the said
Letter and Questioned this Informant as to the Safely of it And this Informant
further saith that the said Catharine Lindon< no role >
assisted this Informant on the
above Evening in taking the said Letters out of the Post box and in Stamping
them And this Informant saith that after the Letters were taken out and laid
on the Table this Informant went to Stir the fire and fetch a Candle and left
the said Catharine Lindon< no role >
and no other Person Standing by the said Letters in the same Room
