AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our Sovereign LORD the KING, at the House of
John Doe< no role > the Sign of the Crown Harlsden Green in the
Parish of Wilsden in the County of
Middlesex , the Twentieth Day of November in the Fortieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign LORD GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of GOD of Great-Britain, France
and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before George Hodgson< no role > Gent
one of the CORONERS of our said LORD the KING, for the said County, on View of the Body of
William Murrell< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
the several Persons whose Names are hereunder-written and Seals affixed, good and lawful
Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn and
charged to inquire, for our said LORD the KING, when, how, and by what Means, the said
William Murrell< no role > came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That the said William Meverell< no role > on the
nineteenth Day of November in the Year aforesaid at the Parish
and in the County aforesaid was found drowned in the Grand
Junction Canal there but how or by what Means doth
not appear to the said Jurors

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said CORONER asthe said William Nicoll< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, and the Rest of his said Fellows, have, to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals, the Day, Year, and Place first above-written.
