Informations of Witnesses taken at the Dwelling
House ofknown by the Sign of the
Spread Eagle in the Parish of St Mary le bone in the County of
Middlesex on Wednesday the twelfth day of July 1786 Before
Thomas Phillips< no role > Esqr one of two Majesty's Coroner for the
said County touching the Death of William Summons< no role >
then and there lying Dead as follow.

Foralls Lambs Condint Mews Upon her
Oath Saith That on Sunday last about me.
O'Clock the saw the deceased on Horse back
in the Fields near the Foundling Hospital
going down the road near. to the Dubre of
Boltons Houses & saw the deceased pulling
the Horse in and apprehends that having one.
Spin on &. not knowing how to Manage the
Horse it Sprang forward as A full
Canter & the deceased was in an instant
thrown over the Horses head the he still
held the rein in one hand & the Horse
draged him onsaith one handabout three
Yards and then the deceased quitted laid
held and the Horse then went qutietly
off. and a Man took up the deceased &
took him Home.
