Upon his Oath Saith That returning from
his Work on Wednesday Evening last
& not seeing the deceased who was found
of him in the House as usual asked his
Wife where he was the said the left
him in his Chain at ye Door. a year
which he went out to we be for the
deceased and there being a Ditch near
the House & not finding deceased suspected
he had fallen into it & looking there
found him apparently dead there has
being any Signs of lifeSaith he
ran immediately to Coln brooke for a
Surgeon and every one [..] was made
use of to recover the deceased without
Effect. Saith that the deceased had
a bruise on his fore head which Deponent
Supposes was received in his fall &
which the Surgeon Mr. perridge supposed
staimed the deceased.
