Middx a lad
about 14 Years of age maketh oath that yesterday afternoon about the hour
of three he saw the deced who was also a lad about 14 years of age strip
himself & so into the River at Isleworth
called the Brent. Dept says he
walked into the Water into the middle of the Stream, and presently afterwards
while Dept was looking at a Man who was swimming, his attention was called
towards the deced as an by some persons near, &Keptthen perceived the deced
struggling in the Water drowningSays some persons went in Boat to the
deceds assistance, who was then under the Water, & he was found and brought
on shoreto the House of Mr Powell& layed on the Grass and means and used
to recover the deced but to no purpose and he was afterwards taken to the House
of Mr Powell his Master
