Informations of Witnesses taken at the dwelling house of
Zachariah Wilson< no role > the Sign of the Cock at Walham Green
in the Parish of Fulham in the County of Middlesex on
Saturday the twenty seventh day of May 1786. Before
Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire on of his Majesty< no role > 's Coroners for the said County
touching the death of Richard Dean< no role >
then and there lying dead as follow.

Mary Edmonds< no role > of Walham Green Widow upon her
Oath saith That on Thursday last She was looking out
of a Window of her House in Daws Lane and Lane
deceased coming down the Lane with his Fathers
Cart drawn by two Horses and just as he got to
ye Corner near A House on the Green he thinking
the Cart went too near and was got out of the rut
just touched the fore horse to get the Cart from the
House the Horse started and deceased almost in on
the instant fell down (Deponent supposing the
Shaft hit him in the breast) and the near Wheel
of the Cart immediately went over him and here was
wagged hand or foot Deponent immediately
ran down and took him up upon his Backside
and one John Dor then came up & took him
into a Shop just by and he appeared quite
Saith that he just moved afterwards as Deponent
was informed and then died
