Informations of Witnesses taken at the dwelling house of
Samuel Flunt< no role > the Sign of the Peterborough Arms
at Parsons Green
in the Parish of Fulham in the County of Middlesex on
Saturday the 3dday of June 1786 Before
Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Coroners for the said
County touching the death of George Frederic Deninger< no role >
then and there lying dead as follows

Joseph Barnes< no role > Beadle of the parish of Fulham upon
his Oath Saith That onThursdayFriday Morning
last about 10 o'Clock he was informed That He was
informed the deceased was found drowned in Dark
Meadow near the River Thames Whereupon Depont.
went to the place with a Horse & Cart & brought
the Body to the abovementioned PlaceAnd upon
Enquiry found out the deceaseds Name from
Mr. Wm. Marriot< no role > one of the Jury men who
know him Saith that he apprehends as ye
ride was high & our [..] the Meadow that
the deceased who had taken off his Shoes &
Stockingsto walk thro the Water apprehends
he Stuck in ye Mud which lay by the side
of the Road in great Quantity & probably sh [..]
down as he was found flat upon his face and
not any mark of Violence on his Body.
