Informations of Witnesses taken at the Dwelling House
of William Creswell< no role > the Sign of the Goal
at Old Brentford in the Parish of Ealing in the County
of Middlesex on WednesdayTuesdaythe four [..] [..] they of
January 1786 Before Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire
one of his Majestys Corners for the said County touching
the Death of Isabella Baker< no role > Widow then and
there lying Dead as follow

Richard How< no role > of Old Brentford Carpenter on his
Oath Smith That he lived next Door Neighbour to the
deceased in Old Brentford aforesaid and as she lived in
her House without a Servant or any person to late
care of her and not having seen her about as usual on
Saturday last suspected she was ill And on Sunday
on making enquiry after & not finding the had gone
out Deponent with Mr. Thomas Wood< no role > another
Neighbour of the deceased agreed to break, open
the back Widow of the deceased House and
accordingly did so and on entering the House found
the deceased with her Body pressed down this the
frame of a four legged Wooden Table against
which she appeared to have fell at the Table was
forced [..] on One Side to the ground and the
deceased as before mentd. fried within it her Head
and Legs being uppermost and her Shoulders
violently preferd against that paul of the frame of
the Table that was turned upwards so as to such [..]
