LondonDeposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say at the Precinct of Bridewell
Hospital in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London aforesaid this 5th day of September
1799 on view of the body of Rebecca Richardson< no role >
now here Lying Dead

Mary Rundell< no role > Widow Matron at Bridewell Hospital
maketh Oath That the deced Rebecca Richardson< no role > was brought
into the Prison of Bridwell Hospital aforesaid last Monday
Week being committed in order to be passed to her proper place of
Settlement - That the deced was an elderly Woman about Sixty
two Years of Age and appeared very ill when she come to the
Prison and sayed she had got cold [..] had a Pain in her Limbs
by laying about (as Dept. supposed in the Breek) as he sayed
she had been very much distressed - Dept. say, the deced appeared
to be in a very ragged miscrable state - That on Monday Morng
last the deced was taken ill with a pain in her Bowels Dept.
acquainted the Surgeon of the Prison of it who saw the deced and
sent her Medicine for her complaint which the look - That the
deced continued ill until Yesterday Morning when the departed
this Life
