maketh Oath that he hath known the deced about sixteen years
that he has rented a back Garret in the house No. 50 next Door Dept
and which belongs to Dept the whole of that timethat a little
before two on Friday afternoon last in consequence of application
made to this Dept he and his son and a Mrs. Christie

up to the Appartment of the deced Dept. Knockedandat the
Door and halloed to the deced but received no answer that
Dept. tried to open the Door but found it bolted insideDept
then called a Mr. Flude a Neighbour in and he and
Mr. Flude and Dept son forced the Door open. Mr. Flude
went into the Room and Dept followed that the deced way
lying along upon the floor at the side of the bedstead and
appeared quite deadthat he was placed on the Bed and
his Cloaths that he had on went port taken of and part cut off
he having fonled himself very much with exerement
that he was quite cold and appeared to have been dead some
timeThat the deced was a Painter
and Paper Paryer by
businessthat these three or four Months part the deced has
appeared sickly as if in a declinethat the decad Dept believes was a single
Man and always lived very resired ruping very closely to his
Room when at Homethat the deced appeared to be a very
dirtyManof ilthy Man and his Appatment appeared to
be very dirty and filthy
