London Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Saint Botolph
Billingsgate in the Ward of Billingsgate
in London aforesaid this 6th day ofNovember
December 1794 on view of the Body of

Nathaniel Tibbs< no role > Beadle of Billingsgate Ward London
maketh Oath that Yesterday Morning let 8 & 9 OClock [..] in
consequence of some information Dept. received he went to Fox
Quay in the parish of St. Botolph Billingsgate and there saw
the deced taken out of the Water opposite the Middle of the
Quay from between two Lighters-that the two Men got
the deced upon a Scale Board in one of the Lighters and
soon after he was taken from there to the Bone house of
St. Botolphs Burying Ground where he now lies-that
he appeared to have been a long time under Water but no
marks of violence about him.
