London Depositions of witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the parish of Allhallows the
Great in the Ward of Dowgate
in London aforesaid this 28th day of Augst: 1794
on view of the Body of a Man unknown

Saint Olaves Southwark Lighterman maketh Oath
that between seven and Eight Yesterday Morning Dept
saw the Head of a Person a little above the surface of the
Water opposite the Steel Yard in Allhallows the Great
Dept. Went with two Lads to the deced and towed him
in shore to Allhallows Stain that he has a Blue coaton
a White Waistcoat Mr of Corderay Breecher Thread
thockings Leather shoes tied with strings appeared
to have been several Days on the Water one of the lads
found the pocket Book now produced in one of his
Goal Pockets in the Pocket Book now produced one
several Cards and some letters somedirectedof the
Letters are directed to Mr Wall No.12 Leicester Street
Leicester Square [..] some Mr Wallace Mo.12 Leicester
street Leicester Square and another letter directed to in
Mr David Henning< no role > Uppotstery No.23 East side of
Leicester Square London
