a Midship
man belonging his Majesty Ship to the
Camilla [..] which Ship is now ornizing in the Channel
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced their and an
Webster [..] since the 26th April last on
that the deced was Masters Mate of the said Ship that
the said this having taken a Prize Dept was dispatched
with the same for the River Thames
that Dept arrived
with said prize at the Red House
at Deptford that
on Dept going to Mr. Sykes of Around Street
in the
stand on Saturday last Dept understood the deced was
expected there that Dept saw the deced on board the
Prize Dept had charge ofaboutbetween three and four OClock
that Day and Dept. understood [..] from the deced that
he had arrived the day before with another Prize
which had been captured by the Camilla that some
time after Dept and he deced left the Prize the deced
had charged of and came together in a Boat to London
that on their arrival at Mark Lane
Londonthey went
together to the House of Mr Adams with whom the deced
left his Pocket Book that they left Mr Adams's and
Dept asked the deced to show him the Town [..] Dept
being a stranger in London [..] that they continued Logn.
until about ½ past 11 OClock.when a deced left Dept
[..] having in the course of the Evening Picked
up a Girl each with with whom they were at a House
No.16 George Rows George Fields at which House
the deced sayed he not liking the Girl he had picked up
[..] would go some where else that he then left the said
House is being [..] about ½ past 11 OClock that the
deced appeared intoxicated at the time he left Dept Dept
was not quite soberthat Dept the deced & the two Girls were
at Vauxhall together and that Evening it about ½ past 10 OClock
Dept don't think the Liquor the deced drank while with
Dept could hurt him that in consequence of some information
Dept received he went to Saint Georges's Work house about
Nine OClock on Sunday Evening last and these saw the
deced lying Dead. that Dept examined the deced that there
